This Cookie Policy explains how eaurougejewelry.com (the "Site") uses cookies and similar technologies. Eau Rouge is operated by Kaanpasa LLC ("we", "us"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, can also save small pieces of information on your device.
2. How we use them
Our Site is built on Shopify, which sets cookies and uses similar technologies to run the store. We use them for the following purposes.
Necessary to run the store. These keep your cart, remember your location and currency, support checkout and help keep the Site secure. Examples include cart_currency, localization and _shopify_essential.
Analytics and performance. These help us understand how the Site is used, such as which pages are visited and how the store performs, so we can improve it. Shopify sets _shopify_analytics for this purpose.
Marketing and advertising. Shopify sets _shopify_marketing, which is used to measure the effectiveness of marketing and, where marketing integrations are connected, to support advertising measurement. Our Facebook & Instagram and Google & YouTube sales channel integrations are installed and may use cookies and similar technologies to measure and improve advertising performance.
Product reviews. We use Judge.me to collect and display product reviews. Judge.me may use cookies or similar technologies to provide that service.
Site preferences. Our theme stores a small amount of information in your browser's local or session storage, such as your selected currency, recently viewed items and whether you have dismissed an on-page message. This information stays on your device.
Cookie names and lifespans can change when Shopify or our service providers update their products.
3. Third parties
Some cookies and similar technologies are set by service providers that work with us, including Shopify, Judge.me and, where connected, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. Their use of data is governed by their own policies.
4. Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. If you block necessary cookies, parts of the Site, such as the cart and checkout, may not work. As described in our Privacy Policy, if you visit with a Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing and targeted advertising for that device and browser, depending on where you are.
If you live in a state that gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, you can use the opt-out link in our Privacy Policy or email sales@kaanpasa.com. The Site does not currently display a cookie consent banner; Shopify's automated privacy setting reports that a banner is not required for the regions where we sell.
5. More information
See our Privacy Policy for the personal information we collect, how we use it and your rights.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
